Product Review #02 - Heyrex Torus Water Bowl

I've been looking for a new water bowl ever since my trusty old Road Refresher kept getting stuck and the water would occasionally not flow out for drinking. By chance I stumbled upon the Heyrex Torus Water Bowl.
I know, I know - dogs don't need filtered water! What kind of spoiled pets am I raising? But hey, cats sure could benefit from filtered water, especially Jiji who is a finicky fussy feline. Since Breeze and Jiji share almost everything, including the water bowl, this is definitely a sound investment. Did I mention it's huge? That means Jiji's whiskers don't touch the sides of the bowl when drinking, and she's very grateful for that. She's been drinking more too, and that's a definite plus in my book!

Hello,
Thank you for this video! It really helps understanding how this works. I do have one question though, I have 5 cats and it's hard to keep their water bowls clean because fur and other residues get inside and are just floating in the water. If I understand it correctly, the water in the Torus bowl only comes out when the cat is drinking so that the rest of the time the water is still. So if there is no cyclicality that filters the water, doesn't that mean that the fur and other residues will stay inside and the water won't stay clean? Thanks, Nily

Yes, you are correct. The Heyrex water bowl is not a drinking fountain where the water constantly circulates. It is essentially a drinking bowl where water only flows out as needed. So if fur is in the main drinking area, it will stay there unless you clean it out. Fur will not get into the filtered compartment where the water is actually stored, as that is covered up.
