Our dear Jiji passed away peacefully after the discovery of a sudden and aggressive cancer in her jaw. Loyal and loving to the end, Jiji had been our most faithful kitty companion for many years, and had lived her life enjoying basking in the sun, snoozing in soft beds, watching birds out the windows, and delighted us with her soft snuggles, constant purrs and head butts. We were honoured to be able to give her a peaceful passing and help her on her way without allowing the cancer to make her suffer. She was magnificently loved up till the very end. The best little cat in the world - I can't wait to see you again my little Jiji. Thank you for everything.
Jiji is a 14 year old female smokey black Domestic Medium Hair cat.
We found Jiji when she was still a kitten roaming the mean streets as a stray. We started feeding her and soon Jiji came to pay our backyard regular visits. One day Jiji came pregnant, but before we could catch her and take her to the vet, she disappeared. When she finally returned several months later, she had had her kittens and was very thin. We took her in to the vet who surrendered her to the RSPCA. There, Jiji contracted cat flu and remained at the hospital in serious condition for several months. When nobody came forward to claim Jiji, I legally adopted her from the RSPCA as my own. Since then she has been a happy, madcap little bundle of fur, keeping us entertained with her antics. Jiji is a very loving and sweet natured cat and she has helped me through many dark and tough times. I love Jiji very much and she is the little fluffy light of my life.
The fate of her kittens remain unknown, however we did find a dead kitten at our doorstep, assumed to be hers.
Jiji will live out the rest of her life comfortably as a dearly beloved feline friend. Jiji does not live with us anymore however she enjoys regular visits from myself, Breeze & Sky who loves popping by to say hello to her in her beautiful home.
