Training (Tricks / Clicker Training)

Breeze knows a variety of tricks and is trained using positive reinforcement, including clicker training, using reward markers as well as training in drive.
I am only a novice dog trainer and try and learn as much as I can from other trainers, training courses and various other resources. I aim to create a super fun, happy and motivated training environment for Breeze during every session without the use of force, aversives or corrections.

Breeze is trained extensively using the relationship based methods taught by Denise Fenzi from the Fenzi Dog Sports Academy.
Denise has been an incredible mentor and trainer to Breeze and I, with her wealth of knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour. She trains with kindness, fairness and affection and always places the dogs' emotional well-being first. Her methods have worked wonders for Breeze in developing precision, motivation and a true enjoyment of work. I highly recommend the FDSA for anyone wanting to further their training and relationship with their dog.

Clicker training is the use of a clicker to mark a desired behaviour, followed by a reward.
